Horace Chase Lodge Gets Summer Face Lift
The Building Committee moved forward quickly this summer
under the guidance of Chairman Scovil and the wall is making
good progress in the front of the building. Below are photos of how it is coming along.
You will see Mike Drotar at ground level and Past Master Norton sitting
on his new tractor ready to move some dirt. Earlier in the
project Brother Case and his wife spend many hours helping
Mike with the wall but they left before the pictures were taken.

For centuries, Freemasons have contributed to the
communities in which they live through the principles of
Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Freemasonry has existed in
New Hampshire since 1735, and many of the leading citizens
of our state have been Freemasons. Being a member of the
oldest and largest fraternal order in the world is a
rewarding and educational experience. Our charitable
activities are many and varied: the Shriners' Hospitals for
Children, support of medical research, scholarships,
programs for child identification and combating drug abuse,
the Scottish Rite Learning Centers, and quiet, local
charity. Freemasons are committed to helping those who are
less fortunate, and in the process we are building a better
and safer world.
The Masonic Lodge, otherwise known as "Blue Lodge", is the
center of activity from which all other Masonic
organizations spring. Without Blue Lodge, there would be no
Shrine, Scottish or York Rite, Eastern Star, Rainbow or
DeMolay to advance their noble and charitable causes. The
single highest Masonic authority within the state of New
Hampshire is the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire.
